The replacents for senior players are already on varsity contributing, their JV and freshman both lost one game both to Sallies. What depth are your speaking of?
Would we be having this convo if they just played a Delaware schedule and went 9-1 w only loss being to Sallies?
I’m telling you Middletown won’t be the same. Unless they keep recruiting like they did last offseason. I don’t see them being elite.
Also Smyrna was average at best before the knights came and with ledee Brown and now the Penn transfer, but the knight era ends in few weeks so I would say the eagles have more to replace.
So they have two sons? DMA and St Mark's? 🤣
Seems like atleast few teams are better than DMA this year, the coach returning will not be enough ! May be an early exit in playoffs.

So here is the set up for tonights Sallies vs Appo game. It is basically a district championship game.
If Sallies wins then they are the district champ if Appo wins it goes to the 3way tiebreaker that can't be solved using head to head.
The tiebreak would be points given up in the district
Currently Appo holds that advantage

The long shot is Middletown winning the district if Appo wins but gives up 38 pts to Sallies. Anyone feeling a "Shootout at the Abe"? 🤠

Because they promise a certain media outlet that they get first dibs on announcing the brackets..
actually it was intentional grounding (threw it to a lineman) so it ended up the same difference
Throwing to a lineman is not intentional grounding but illegal touching
He was getting rid of the ball to avoid a sack and it wasn't to a legal receiver in the area.
But no flag was thrown so when the ball hit the ground it was incomplete. It was treated as a recovered fumble.
