QB LJ Phillips has left Tatnall. Not sure where the destination is and if it's in state or out of state.

He's probably about 6'4, throws a good ball, and is athletic. I'm sure if he was in the right situation he would be one of the top QBs in the state.

looks like he played 7v7 for Philly's Finest.. St Joes Prep?

Also looks like he hit the camp circuit hard this summer as well.. somebody snatched him up l

Can't be St. Joe's. They have a 4 or 5 star QB with offers from everywhere throwing to Marvin Harrison Jr. (and Jeremiah Trotter's son is on the team also for you Eagles fans).

Interesting to see where he lands. From his film he looks like a player.

Saw him in the opener against McKean last year. It was a rainy, muggy night and he was easily the best player on the field. I imagine he's improved since then.

The Jets have waived A.i. DuPont alumni WR Quadree Henderson. Hoping he gets snatched up soon. He has some speed to him

There was murmurs going around last season that the Tatnall kid was going to Smyrna at one point. Obviously it never happened.

They have 2 guys now that are capable of starting, I think they just need to switch the offense up a bit and Give them a better chance.

Is a Pennsylvania kid that came to Tatnall for academics? He could possibly be going back to his home school for his senior year for recruiting purposes. Is he getting any PWO or offers at Tatnall?

He’s pretty one- dimensional[/QUOT

And that dimension the NFL has pretty much eliminated. There was a time kick returners were a commodity. Now a days with the new rules most kick offs are kneel downs. No reason to put a specialist back there anyone can catch the ball and kneel

Update: Jacksonville signed Quadree Henderson off waivers. I don’t think the Jags receiving corps has anyone that sticks out. He might be in his best situation, go in and shine and make the team.

So did anyone find out where he landed? He is listing Dover,DE as his location on twitter.. don't know if that means anything though but Dover does need a QB ..

So are they a feeder school for Ivy League schools or something?
Yes the high schools in the Philadelphia Catholic League are apart of the feeder program for Ivy League teams. Where did I mention they were a feeder program? GTF out of here with that question.

Actually Lansdale Catholic is in a nice area and not what you typically think of a Philly Catholic League school. Hardly any diversity in that school whatsoever. Probably less diverse than Sallies. Maybe they are trying to change that

700 students co-ed

92% White
7% Asian
< 1% Black
< 1% Hispanic
< 1% Hawaiian
< 1% American Indian
< 1% 2 or more races

So what did him looking to go to Ivy League schools have to do with him going to Lansdale? You said it. I have no clue about who Ivy League recruit.

Seems like an odd choice to me. Week football program, Very Average academically nothing special

So black kids should go to predominantly black schools & white kids should go to predominantly white schools? Tatnall isn’t the most diverse school either. Go to a school that is a good fit for the kid regardless of diversity and a school that will prepare him academically too. Not sure why there is a need to post pictures that display their 92% white population. Especially, the cheerleaders? Really? Weird!

No one is saying that idiot. I happen to believe diversity is very important in school. It wasn’t about it being an all white but more about it not being a good football program and the academics there are not close to Tatnall or even the top half of private schools in PA. It was more of a curiosity of the motivation to choose that school which offers no more than what St Marks has to offer but St Marks has more diversity.

Hey people can go where ever they want. I have been following the transfer situation for over ten years now and I find it interesting why some choose a certain school over another. But of course there are people that can’t have a honest conversation without trying to twist things to some political agenda. Whatever no big deal. As for the demographics it had nothing to do with LJ choosing to go there or whether he had the right to I was pointing out how there are still schools that are essentially segregated and it doesn’t make sense to me. Folks on here will tell you I have taken shots at Sallies for ten years based on demographics in the school vs the demographics of the city the school is located in but I get not many minorities even bother to apply to Sallies. I would like to see that change

To stay on topic rumor is Sallies has two transfers from Cape (actually one from of IMG). One in a position of need. Hummmm!

Marcus Robinson from Cape transferred to the Sals. The Sals have a great deal of work for him if he stays as TE. If The Sals are smart they will keep Marcus at defense. A little more of a knack at defense. Marcus would be a fit in at DE or OLB.

I have not heard about the IMG transfer. National ranked team to the Sals, with a possible red flag will follow.

@Passshootpass, not sure where you came up with your analogy, I read the post and I don’t see it. As a brother from another mother, I think you were way off base, imo

Thanks 84... And to further retort.. Lansdale Catholic far exceeds "predominantly" also for PSP's information Tatnall is 28% students of color not <1%

So mature with the name calling @BackinBlack86 Check your facts! And reread your posts. Way off base and you brought the race part into this with your incorrect statistics and posts of pictures. No politics at all here, unlike you. More facts and correct information for you. I won’t be lowering myself any longer and engage you with additional posts, so feel free to continue with your name calling and incorrect information. @84rider thanks for letting us know that you are a brother, again. Word!

L.C s a great school. They would be Delaware State Champs in D 2 consistently. Their big game is against North Penn on Thanksgiving and they beat NP a few times each decade. North Penn would trash any team from Delaware any time. L.C. is great academically, trust me. The kid made a great move. I do not understand why Sallies does not play North Penn or L. C. !
