coaching out of season--new idea!!

just heard the best way to "beat' the coaching out of season rule[at least at 4 henlopen schools!!]--out of school district employees must apply each year-so techinally they are not coaches when last season ends until they are rehired-districts wait to rehire to the last board meeting in feb.so thusly the coaches are not coaches until the board approval allowing them to run out of season practice---i ,for one,think this is brilliant

I will have to go back and read the rule, but I believe the DIAA handbook has that covered. A few years back there was a similar issue with volunteer coaches.
