Caravel 14 Hodgson 4
Makayla Walsh went 2 for 3 with a double, triple and 4 RBI's, Miranda McIlvaine went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's for Caravel Academy.
Alyssa Lindell went 2 for 2 with a double and Erin McDonough went 2 for 3 for Hodgson Vo-Tech.

Mt. Pleasant 13 St. Elizabeth 8
Mount was led by Tori Lawson who was 5-5 with a double, triple, 2 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Kyra Kafel had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. Caroline Gilligan was 4-5 with a double and a triple.

St. Elizabeth's Hailey Rambo was 3-3 with 3 runs scored. Ariel Garcia had 3 hits and scored 2 runs.

Red Lion 10 Smyrna 0
A Edwards threw a 4 hit shutout and drove in 4 runs with a homerun and two sac flies for Red Lion. P Pusey was 2 for 2 at the plate with a double, homerun and 2 RBI’s. M. Lieske and M. Meginniss also homered for the Lions.
Smyrna’s third baseman M. Shirey had a perfect day at the plate going 2 for 2 and on the field with several glove gems for Smyrna.

Dover 5 Ursuline 4
Ursuline B. Maloney pitched whole game giving up 12 hits with 4 K'
Dover used three pitchers giving up 9 hits with 2 K's.
Biggest highlight of game is Kayloni Dixon hitting solo HR in the 6th inning and then in the 7th inning bases loaded two outs, hits a single to seal the win in her last game as a senior at Dover High field.

Newark 28 Early College High School at DSU 14
ECHS and Newark played their second game against each other in two weeks and this time it was Newark HS Senior night. Both teams played a 4+ hour game on Friday April 29th and this Fridays game went just about 3 hours including a 30 minute lightening delay. When Newark started the delay in the 3rd inning they were down in the game, when the game continued and the inning ended Newark struck for a big inning and took the lead and never gave it back. Newark Seniors NhiNhi Nguyen, Domiminque Lum, Camille Washington, and Ariana Carpenter all had doubles and had a big day on their Senior Day. NhiNhi Nguyen scored three times and her double was a base clearing double. Dominique Lum had her first big hit of the year with her double and scored four times in the game. Camille Washington continued her fine play at the plate over the last few weeks of the season with her two run double and scored five times. Finally, Ariana Carpenter had her first every double of her career and drove in a run. Ariana also scored four times as well. Junior Alyssa Thomason had her first two hit game of the year and drove in two runs. Senior Brooke Wilfong scored three times as well.

ECHS Sydney Johnes pick up two hits, including a double. She scored three times and drove in one run. Alexus Nelson and Karma Smith each had a hit. Alexus scored three times and Karma scored twice. Karma Smith picked up a hit and scored twice. Kayla Cottman came in late in the game and picked up a two run RBI with her single to center field.

ECHS completed their season after Friday nights game, and Newark will play a makeup game Saturday morning at home against their sister high school, Glasgow to close our their 2022 season.

Delmarva Christian 6 Archmere 2
Delmarva Christian's lone senior, Lauren Henderson led the Royals offensively on senior night going 2 for 2 with a walk and 2 RBI. Lily Fetterman and Lilli Showacre each had 3 hits for the Royals. Showacre was also strong in the circle allowing 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 10.

Kathleen Schaller, Tori Connor, Ryan Vitola and Carly Polsky each had a hit for Archmere.
Appoquinimink 9 Newark Charter 0 Savannah Laird went 5 striking out 12 Patriot batters to earn her 16th win of the year. Appoquinimink was led on offense by Alexia Fitzgerald and Julia Weglarz who both had 2 hits on the day scoring 2 runs each. Weglarz added 2 RBIs. Laird went 3 for 3 at the plate with an RBI double.
