Archmere 16 First State Military Academy 3
Tori Conner struck out 5 batters in 2 innings of work to earn the win for Archmere. Ava Beach threw 5 innings in her varsity pitching debut striking out 8 batters. Both pitchers had big days at the plate as well as Conner went 4 for 5 with 5 RBI's. Beach drove in 2 on a home run in the 4th. Ryan Vitola also homered for the Auks. Bella Rappucci, Meg Disabella, and Ruby Merenda all had multi-hit days as well.

For First State, Paige Holowka had 2 hits and Riley Worral hit a solo homerun.

Middletown 4 St Marks 2
Middletown nabbed the lead late in the game with a full team effort of solid defense & quality hitting. Reese Founds led the Cavs in the circle only allowing 3 hits & 2 runs while striking out seven Spartans. The Middletown squad racked up 8 hits againts the Spartans with multiple hits from Montgomery & Pepper. The Cavs took the lead in the 4th when Maiorano doubled & Maddy Hackett followed with a triple. A single from Elise Britton gave them 2 heading into the 5th. Spartans responded immediately in the 5th with a double from Oller who scored along with Casapolo off a walk & error by the defense. Cavs stayed focused in the bottom half of the frame & added two more for insurance off Montgomery's double, a walk & an error by the St. Marks defense.

Thomas went 2-3 at the plate to lead St. Marks in hits. Maxton took the loss with 11 strike outs & 1 walk.

Hodgson 18 Dickinson 2 Hodgson's Erin McDonough struck out 7 to earn her first victory of the season. McDonough also collected 2 hits in the game for the Silver Eagles. Abigail Bledsoe had 2 hits for Dickinson.

Christiana 16 Delcastle 0 Lauren Carbonara pitched her first no-hitter: 12 SO, 2 BB, 1 HB. Dana Harris hit a 3-run inside the park Home Run. Sydney Ahlstrohm went 2-2 and walked twice.

Odessa 28 Newark 12
Odessa Softball won their first ever Varsity game in the schools history. Addison Hurst led the Ducks in hits going 5 for 5 with 1 RBI and Riley Curtis went 4 for 6 with 7 RBI's and 2 home runs on her day. Collectively the Ducks had 25 hits. Hibbard, Gephart, Blanchfield, Pudimott, Maxwell, Shetzler and, Carroll each had a hit in the game.

Natalie Gephart took the win for Ducks. Gephart went three and a third innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out five. Benderoth threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen striking out two. Gephart recorded the last ten outs to earn the save for Odessa Ducks.

C. Washington went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Newark Yellowjackets in hits. C. Butz went four and two-thirds innings and struck out four.

Delaware Military Academy 15 St. Elizabeth's 1
A.Downs, G. Campbell, S.Sobocinski, C.Opalach, and H. Navarro each collected multiple hits for Delaware Military Academy.
J.Bozzo and N.Mignogna each had a hit for St. E's

Concord 14 Brandywine 0
Concord's offense was led by Rachel Waslyn who went 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI, Maddie Michulka who also went 2 for 2 on the day, and Rylee Waslyn with a two-run RBI triple. Mackenzie Weinkowitz, Sammy Fyock, McKenzie Camp, and Hannah Powell all contributed with RBI singles. Gigi Calderara pitched a shutout with 7 strikeouts to earn the win for Concord.

Abigail McFarland and Makayla Groover each had a hit for Brandywine.


Sportsmanship coins were awarded to Bella Neef(Concord) and Megan Leary(Brandywine)

Conrad 2 William Penn 0
Bella McKee threw a complete game shut out while striking out 11. She also chipped in a rbi single in the first that proved to be the game winner.
Madelyn Pritchard was dominant on the hill as well while striking out 12 & allowing only one earned run. Madison Perry had a perfect day at the plate while going 3 for 3 with 2 doubles.
