St. Marks 2 Appoquinimink 1 Sophomore Ryleigh Thomas continues to impress on the mound and at the plate for the Spartans. Thomas struck out 16 and allowed 0 earned runs against a tough Appoquinimink team in 8 innings. She also started the Spartan's offense with a homer in the 4th inning. Appoquinimink tied it in the bottom of the 7th on an error, but Amanda Oller ripped a homerun over the right field fence during the top of the eighth that proved to be the game winner.
