Smyrna 9 Delmar 2 Payton Dixon pitched 16 strikeouts, allowing only 2 hits and 2 runs. Meghan Shirey went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs, while Dixon added 2 RBIs. The Lady Eagles were also lead by Gianna Ducca with 3 hits, RBIs by Sheridan Price, Taylor Lipkins and Hailey McCutchan. Autumn Boothe tied the game in the six with a two-run homerun for Delmar. Woodbridge 5 Milford 4 Emily Peterson pitched a complete game, striking out 5 batters for Woodbridge. Mariah Maddox started the rally in the bottom of the 7th inning with a triple for Woodbridge. Maddox finished the game with 2 hits and 1 run scored. Payton Keeler's 2nd hit of the game was a walk-off single to score Kamryn Spence for the win. Khyliah Reynolds pitched the complete game for Milford, striking out 9. Reynolds and Lillie Harrison both had 2 hits for Milford and scored 3 of their 4 runs. |
