Smyrna 1 Newark Charter School 0 Olivia Stubblebine had 13 strikeouts for Newark Charter. Payton Dixon produced 16 outs and allowed only 2 hits for the shutout. MaKayla Brantley had 2 hits and scored the winning run off a sacrifice bunt by Meghan Shirey.

Dimoede went 3 for 3 (2 RBI), Moxley went 2 for 3 (RBI), Guerrieri went 2 for 3, Grygo went 1 for 3 (2 RBI), Debenedicitis went 1 for 2 (3 RBI), and Jessica Ealter pitched a 1-hitter for Caravel Academy.
Larimore,L went 1 for 2 (2B) for Seaford.

Appoquinimink 4 Red Lion Christian 0 Hailey Watlington And Jill Dawson combined on tthe shutout to lead Appoquinimink past Red Lion in the 2nd round of the DIAA Softball Tournament. The Jaguars lead 2 to 0 after 1 and extended their lead in the 5th on a baes loaded 2 run double from Lily Papellas. Jill Dawson had 2 hits for Appoquinimink and scored a run. Kylie Saienni doubled for Red Lion.

Caesar Rodney 3 Delmarva Christian 2 Both teams were strong in the circle, but CR came out on top defeating Delmarva Christian 3-2 in the 2nd round of the DIAA State tournament. CR got things going in the first inning when Stacey Deputy singled on a 0-1 count scoring one run. Peyton Shields led CR on the mound lasting 7 innning, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out 8. Lilliana Showacre took the loss for Delmarva Christian allowing only 4 hits and three runs over 6 innings while striking out 11. Stacey Deputy, Kaitlyn Horton, Peyton Shields, and Riley Elledge each collected one hit to lead CR. Lydia Woods went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Delmarva Christian. It was a great game by both teams.

Sussex Central 10 Padua 0 The SC Lady Knights defeated the Lady Pandas 10-0 with strong hitting and a no hit 10 K performance by Madge Layfield. Lauren Schurman had 8 strikeouts for Padua.

Middletown exploded for 11 runs in the top of the second hitting four home runs in the inning as they went on to defeat Sussex Tech 17-12.
Sussex Tech, down 14-0 at one point, showed great character by battling themselves back into the game.
Reese Founds had four hits, scored four runs and hit two home runs to lead Middletown on offense. Laniya Lewis had three hits, scored three runs, and hit two home runs to lead Sussex Tech on offense.

Delaware Military Academy 5 Lake Forest 0 Graceyn Frost throws a no-hitter with 14 K's with Linsay Henn hitting a pinch-hit 2-run HR. Angelina Dell'Oso and Sara Ann Sobocinski both had multiple hits for DMA.
