Officiating question on the CA-Concord game. It’s 2nd down. Concord QB throws a possibly backward pass that is dropped. A CA player picks it up as the ref blows the whistle indicating an incomplete pass. The refs decide that the whistle should not have blown and say to repeat 2nd down. At the very least it should be an incomplete pass and third down, right?

Caravel struggles with D1 teams. Size and depth an issue for them.. They had a tough time with CR and St G as well pulling both out last minute.. I expect them to make a run late again ..Its their MO this year
