Appo and DMA both beat STM so while they are ranked #1 I think it is really a "group" at the top 5 which can beat each other any given day. WIll make for an awesome playoffs.

Delaware live has St Georges as #1 in the state. Interesting. Any thoughts?

I think any team in the top 10 have a legitimate shot this year.
I would agree. Depends on how teams use their pitching and pitch counts for the pitchers they are using. Can teams get by the beginning of the tournament without using their aces. Should be interesting.

Looks like they have only 1 in state loss, though it was a bad one really early in the season to a solid Sallies team. The other loss is to a nationally ranked, and PA powerhouse, Malvern Prep on a walk off in the 7th. No issues with them being #1, but Conrad and Appo coming up will paint a clearer picture.

I'm in agreement there's at least 8 legitimate state contenders this year and no clear cut favorite. Should make the tournament fun to follow.

One loss in the state can be deceiving. But you are correct, playing Appo will tell a lot about them. I don't know too much about Conrad.

St. Georges is playing at Appo today at 4:15.
Cape is playing at St. Mark's today at 4:15.

Don't think so. I believe schools have a set deadline to pull out of the tournament. Once they know how many teams they have they can finalize a format.
