I posted the thread on 5/31 asking about the All Conference softball teams for the Blue Hen Conference, flights A & B. I wrote to the News Journal the other day asking why they hadn't been published yet. Asst. sports editor Laura Ignarski wrote back to me and said that the Blue Hen Conference is historically one of the last to send in the softball All Conference teams, but that she would try to check on it and find out what had happened. It's over a month since the end of the high school season and the all conference voting. Evidently, whoever the B.H.C trusts with the responsibility of reporting this honor, doesn't take the job very seriously. Too bad because the girls deserve the recognition just as much as the boys.
Does anybody have a name for who the responsible parties might be? It would be interesting to know.
