I'm wondering what type of young talent we have, who are some great sophomores or freshmen to watch this year?

Sophomore pitcher Colin Peluse (Middletown) has already committed to Wake Forest. Sophomore pitcher and outfielder Brandon Fraley (Caravel) is Jake's younger brother. Both young men are excellent two-way ballplayers.
some other sophomores this year to watch for are Bryce Carny- caravel , Andrew Reich- St. Marks, Jared Gillis- Smyrna, Shawn Dulin- Smyrna, Jordan Hutchins- Dover, and Quinton Ivey as well- CR, all were on varsity last year as freshmen except Andrew
Good to see that a lot of downstate players are getting recognized. Hope all of these players have a great season.
There were several freshmen that got a chance to start on Varsity at some of the developing programs last year. And there are probably lots of talented sophs that will get a chance to start on Varsity this year at some of the bigger programs.
There is a list of kids that were recognized as all conference last year (it is on maxpreps) and it includes ten freshmen that made at least HM on this list. They are Logan Gilbert (St. Georges), Brock Nowell (Conrad), Christian Diamanty (Wilm Christian), Brett Nowell (Conrad), Chris Kramedas (Conrad), Tyler Collins (Lake Forest), Ryan Engh (Indian River), Drew Kobasa (Tatnall), Brett Anderson (Tower Hill), and Donovan Simpson (St. Andrews). These are a few names at least. I'm sure there are very many more talented freshmen and sophomores than just on this list, including the kids already listed under this topic.

brock nowell from conrad started and contributed as an 8th grader...should improve on a solid season from last year
overheard a guy at basketball game yesterday say that glasgow will have a freshman leading off this year, didnt get the name
