Top Players for 2019

In the d2 playoffs the brown kid from tower hill had sum 200 yards vs ai. I don't know how he did vs friends the next week, but I'd watch out for him next year

Tower Hill RB would do just fine in Division 1. Don’t act like we are Pennsylvania or New Jersey. There isn’t that big of a difference between D1 and D2. Some schools yes but overall no

Glad Watkins left St. Marks then. He wouldn't be eligible for your list then.....
Said so many not all. There are a couple really good d2 kids and a couple that you people just think are really good and wouldn’t even compete with the good d1 kids. For some reason most of you think there’s no gap when there is a big one.

You are talking about individual players competing in DII vs DI. If you are a stud you are a stud. There have been times in our state that DII players get player of the year on offense or defense. If you are an elite player playing in DII you more than likely would do the same thing on a DI team because you probably have the luxury of only playing one way. If you are not very good in DII guess what you, you won't be very good in DI. Name top running backs in DII who play both ways and if they went DI could only focus on offense and I'd imagine they would be maybe better since they wouldn't be as tired.

And I can name you just as many if not more that dominated d2 and would be very average to below average in d1 but I will not do that to those kids.

They don't really know football .. It's a big gap.. Think about this .. If there was only 1 division in football.. A lot of those D-2 schools wouldn't be thought about at all..

None of them won D-2 titles.. Think you need to say can play not dominate nothing.. Smh..

I'm one for saying that there's a big gap between D2 and D1. However, every year there is at most 2 teams that can compete with the Top 3 of D1. Not saying the can win, but I'll give 3 out of 10 games at least.

I'll go on and say that there are quality players at D2 that get talked about too much or somenthat don't get talked about enough. Prime example. Sallies Watkins. He was a solid, good quality player at St. Marks. And it wasn't until he Went to Sallies where I think he was being named as great. It wasn't that he wasn't great at St. Marks and suddenly became great just by wearing Gold and Blue, but because of the amount of talent around him at Sallies. Salesianums offensive line was good enough so Watkins could do his thing with a little bit more ease, so he flashed more. The line at St. marks struggled so much to open up lanes or hold blocks to where Watkins could do as he does best and just power run game until he gets to full speed and runs past you. By the time he got to 3rd 4th gear he already had 2-3 defenders on him. Not the case at Sallies.

So what I'm saying is there is a gap between TEAMS, but PLAYERS not so much, unless you get guys like Will Knight, Chris Godwin, Troy and Colby Reeder. They would shine on any team you put them on.

According to WDEL Sean Greene Smyrna RB Whaley committed to D2 newcomer Franklin Pierce University....Wesleys Week 1 opponent this fall

Really that’s crazy and Drew Fry gets squat? No offense to Davis but he hasn’t even started a high school game yet. Smh starting to wonder if college coaches are just offering empty offers just to throw their hat in the ring just in case the kid happens to be good if they have measurables

Is the son of former Eagle OT Antone Davis

ahhhh IC makes sense now.. Isnt that the dude that resigned from Tennessee claiming mental abuse and bullying by the head coach?

Not that his Son won't be a fine QB he may be..But lets see him play

I might be wrong but I think Fry is going to Coastal Carolina

But over these last few months Davis has been going on many visits. He’s been to Duke, Mizzouri, and I think South Carolina, and Clemson.

One of the coaches at A&M the one recruiting him played with pops at Tennessee... again not to say he wont be a stud just adding to what Rockem said sometimes it's who you know

Taylor was McKean's best player by a mile and that team had only 7 seniors, so he was the obvious standout.

Point was McKean's coach is BG coach and normally the coaches select their allotted 4 from their teams. Point being McKean coach is being legit if he took the 1 he felt was deserving of the spot and filled the roster with players more deserving from other schools. kudo's to him
