In that game Conrad actually jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first but Appo scored in just about every inning after that jumping to a 10-2 lead. Conrad did score 4 late to make it look respectable at 10-6. Davis beat Sutton on the mound.
Conrad is coming off a big win over Delmar in the first round 7-5. Conrad jumped out to a 5-0 lead early with Awtry on the mound. But quickly gave that all back allowing Delmar to tie it up 2 innings later. Conrad scored two in the 5th to go up 7-5 and held the lead. Conrad has had a tough season this year going 9-8. They have been blown out by a lot of good teams ie (Arch 0-10, St Marks 1-8, NC 5-12, Mtown 0-14) but have also played well at times (lost to Wm Penn 2-1, beat DMA 1-0.
