DELHS WEEK 2 AND SEASON POOL RESULTS

CONGRATULATIONS to @DaDude01 on winning this week with 51 points.

Also, thanks to my girlfriend and keeping me on my toes, she said my math was wrong on a few of you. In that regard she made me an excel sheet with everyone’s totals and wins and losses so where I don’t have to do the math anymore and just have to enter it into the computer and it does it for me now. So some of you are gonna see a change in your season totals, sorry about that. Anyway, here’s our weekly and season totals.

I don’t know that 3a is “superior football” but it is seemingly “bigger”. So while I agree that the 2a state champs would have done well in 3a (at least since 2020 > Howard > Archmere > Friends > Caravel > (and probably Caravel this year). I do think that most (probably all except the top two or three) of 2a would struggle in 3a.

9-14-24 Games and Highlights

Wilmington Friends 56 Dickinson 8 Ryan Tattersall had 41 rushing yards on 2 carries, rushing for 1 TD, and went 6/7 for 136 passing yards, passing for 5 TDs. Jack Heckles had 5 receptions for 117 yards, receiving for 4 TDs. Nash Maheshwari had 14 rushing yards on 3 carries and had 1 reception for 2 yards, receiving for 1 TD. Ronny Berry 28 rushing yards on 3 carries, rushing for 1 TD, had 2 INTs, and a fumble recovery that led to a TD. Antonios Tangalidis had 5 tackles (1 solo). Drew Kwoka and Logan Scott both had 4 tackles. Carter Fenimore had 1 INT. Kato Connor went 8/8 on PATs.

If that happens then the new system will put them there. Playing in 3A would only help them attract more talent. Great school great athletics is a recipe for for success. The system will dictate where teams play at least with football.
