1st Round - Milford @ Red Lion

Milford (9-9) @ RLCA (16-2). Milford lost 4 of its last 5 games. They were only 1-8 against teams that made the playoffs. Their lone win was against St G. Milford is led by Bailey and Hilligoss on the mound but do allow 6 runs per game on average. Milford does hit the ball well spring 7 runs per game. RLCA's story is well known starting 12-0 and finishing 16-2. They have had little competition this year though only playing 1 team that made it to the playoffs, Sussex Central (lost 11-3). Milford lost to Central 10-0. Red Lion has 2 very good starting pitchers, Weber (5-1) and Emberger (6-1). RL is scoring 9 runs per game and only allowing 2 runs per game. This is Only Red Lion's 4th playoff appearance while Milford has been in 22 games. RL was last in the playoffs in 2012 losing to Milford 17-6. I think these two are evenly matched and RL has the pitching and hitting to beat Milford. But I think Milfird is more battle tested and could pull away.

Milford went big fly 3x including the first pitch of the game, but all 3 were solo shots.
