Breeders Cup Day

It's grey, cold and damp today. However, this is my favorite horse racing day of the year. I have 52 dollars in my account, I ended last years Breeders cup with $27 in it. So I am up for the year. Today, I will probably blow it all but will have fun watching the greatest horses in the world compete.

Well the first horse I liked today has been scratched, So sad. So I will be very scientific about my first selection. $2 to win on Mo's Mojo, in honor of my sister Maureen who would curse me out if I didn't bet any horse with her name in it. Currently listed at 2-1 which I feel is a bit of a short price . Gets a top Jock in Leparoux and has run well on at off track on this very track.

As I was typing this, my sister called me to chat. We have now doubled the bet to $4 at her direction.

BTW TVG is giving you your win wager back if your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd.

Mo ran second, lost by a nose so I got my $2 back, never trusted my sister. Had a $1 exacta box 5/6 so I cashed anyway. Total $57.40 up $5 for the day. I should quit now.

3rd Race #1 Selcourt $2. Horse is coming of a 6 month layoff, very concerning. But tough to pass at 6-1. #13 heavy 4/5 favorite
