Bentil is not a Delaware kid... You DE folks will grasp on to anything to make yourself feel bigger. Bentil is from Ghana and went to St Andrews when he was 15
You make a valid point, but he wasn't good at basketball unitl he was here and left
I would argue he was big and OK in HS and got better in College.. But he is only in the NBA because of circumstance and his size . Delaware has nothing to do with it

and he was much better than OK at basketball by the time he graduated, and that development happened here in Delaware
But you are correct, he isn't from Delaware, but was definitely turned in to a basketball player while here in Delaware
So I guess the college coaches did nothing for him? please it didn't matter what state he chose to go to high school or what AAU program he played for... They all would have coached him..... If DE coaches and AAU was so good they would have more in the NBA
First he's a DE kid by choice! You do not need to born in DE to be a DE kid. Same way you don't need to born in the US to be a US citizen. He went to St Andrews and played for WeR1. If he went to generic public HS and played on a marginal AAU team, no one would know his name...
Delaware has everything to do with Ben Bentil. When he comes home to visit his family, he does so in Wilmington.
I was just giving the page an update not trying to check his birth certificate and how long he was in De before going to college. Just give the kid props.
