Enrollments

Ok there ikey. We figured it out None of that has anything to do with determining who goes up and who goes down but whatever. Milf went up because henlopen decided to go to 8 north school. Case closed

Right, I agree. But my question is what if they decided to go 7 north and 9 south?

We won’t know until the enrollment numbers come out. Schools still have until 9/30 to turn them in. So the enrollment thing hasn’t happened yet. The Milford move was because they changed their conference set up and currently milf had the highest enrollment to date. If the numbers come out and IR has more it will get flipped but I am pretty sure Hen conference knows that won’t be the case

I think you are right about the numbers. But my question still remains. What if the Henlopen conference decided to got 7 north and 9 south? The point is that the DIAA made the call with Charter calling them D-I. Big picture stuff, is the system is broken and still needs to be fixed. How does it happen?

Not sure what your asking Ikey. You seem to be off on one of your whack a doodle tangents. Relax let’s wait to see the enrollments and then wonder what if. Charter is D1 because their enrollment says they are. DIAA has no control over what Conference they join

What I am asking is pretty simple. The conference's decide if a team is D-1 or D-2 I have repeatedly tried to find the Henlopen charter and can't get a hold of it, where can I find it? There are meetings held by public entities, yet they are not announced nor open to the public. It's not about Milford, it's about how the conference is conducting it's business.

Ok man. I don’t know where that information is. But it does make sense the conferences will divide evenly if possible. The real gripe is why henlopen let those schools in to begin with. The other guys on here saw the writing on the wall. But I can’t help you on where and what happened in the meetings to let them join

Art is correct.

Numbers are used in other sports to determine D1 and D2 like track where not every school fields a team. In football and wrestling I know for a fact that in the past a Milford team in D1 wrestling had lower numbers than a D2 Hodgson team. The only difference was what conference they were in. And Milford had to compete as D1.

The integrity of the conference is always the argument. If there are 18 teams in the conference the teams are split evenly by numbers, This is true in the Hen and BHen. If in the North or Flight A then you are D1, South, Flight B is D2. Teams outside of the conference use the lowest number in the hen north or Flight A as the cutoff.
