Mid season 75 a joke

I agree. He puts Will Argo, a big D1 football player like 40 something. Puts Bushweller all the way at 6 and hasn’t don’t anything really. Tyhir Harley is sure fire top 15. The only kicker on the list is at best 3rd best kicker behind sallies then Smyrna. Smyrnas kicker almost brought them back against Dover with 2 onside kicks and sallies punter won the tech game all by himself basically. Debo should probably be a little lower than 3 and Wormley should be 1.

Bushweller should probably be even higher than 6

The list seems to be biased in the favor of some undeserving upperclassmen. You shouldn’t base things on what a player did last year. There are some new horses this year that are exemplifying talent that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Honestly, I'm just glad the News Journal Is doing this for HS football. We might not all agree on these list, but at least there is a list to talk about.
I think it’s great also. But I just wish they would put it in print. I know it’s not cost-effective. There is nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee with a morning newspaper and reading about high school sports

Honestly Shine, that's the problem - not pushing anyone older than me to into the grave already lol, but newspapers/news outlets have to target people who do everything from their phones nowadays, so that's why the print product has scaled back and almost been completely eliminated. In less than 10 years, there won't be a print edition for just about every paper in this country, if not sooner. Just the way the world and the industry is moving.

IMO the list are bad but it is of course his view. I think it would be better if he would have put a 3-4 sentences together about the player. This will one highlight what the player does to those who may not know them and maybe shed some light on why the kid is ranked in his eyes.

Just strange how that max preps is missing player stats yet the #2 player in receiving yards is #70 on the list and the The 7th and 10th players in receiving yards is 21st and 7th on his list and the #1 kid (at least on max preps is not on the list)

Running back Peace has outshined all RBs this season but Kane is head of him. Massey (407 yds 3 TDs) makes the list but their are several that have out played him so far this season. Banks (Penn) has 636 yds 2 TDs and Mosley (AI) has 358 yds 11 TDs.

McKean is 5-2 and Taylor has 6 INTs. if not the top in the state has to be pretty close and their wr Lewis is ahead of both AI receives but not one McKean player on the list.

Brad Myers I hope you read this you have to do better. I know it is a lot and we appreciate it but put a little more effort. There is more to the state and football besides the front runners. Dang the Packers and Texans were under 500 last year but had 4-5 players in the NFL top 100.
