Middletown V Sallies

Sallies defensive has been good so far, but their passing defense is the weakest link. Father Judge moved the ball in the air too easy at the end of the game. The running favors Sallies with Watkins, but I think Fry is going shred them apart M-Town 28 - Sallies 17
I can tell you this. If Smith from Middletown would average 18-20 carries per game he would lead the state in rushing yards.
Am I channeling my inner bummy or what? I don't think anybody will accuse me of not being a real fan. The Big S is about to play their best opponent of the year and the best team in DE. They were able to win against teams that are now a cumulative 4-18. The challenging part of the schedule began last week. Any chance of the Cavs looking past the Big S and thinking about that trip to FLA? I doubt it.
Looking past any opponent is a bad idea, looking past Sallies could get your feelings hurt. I think Middletown will be ready, I've got it as a low-scoring affair, somewhere in the 21-14 neighborhood.
Middletown is going to throw the ball all night long on Sallies.

As much as there could be a huge possibility that Middletown looks ahead to IMG, i just don't see it happening. There's no greater current rivalry than this one. And it happens to be Middletowns Breast Cancer Awareness game and there's a lot of emphasis on this game so I don't think they will have any issue focusing on tomorrow night.

lol I am sure MT knew what they were scheduling.. They dont have any designs on going there and not getting tore up. At least I hope not because that would mean the HC is a moron lol..
They took the game for the trip to Florida and to check out the campus and play there.. Unfortunately that isn't going to happen because they moved the game to a public school..and an old public school in an old neighborhood at that.

MT had a game schedule before the IMG coach ever contacted Blum. I forget what school it was now but it was "Baltimore something?"
It was around New Years IMG called expressing interest because they could not find teams that wanted to play. They saw MT HAD an open date and did research. Their thinking was "Middletown has been a constant top program in the state of Delaware, and they have never played a team from Delaware before"
Blum originally denied the offer because the game with the Baltimore school was a Go, until further talks with the coach from Baltimore. That teams coach said "being able to go down there, and play the nations top team (at the time of the convo) is a once in a lifetime thing for most kids from Delaware, and they can see how the national stage is set" so he voluntarily opted out of the game leaving his team with an Open Date so MT could go down there and play IMG.
Blum called IMG back to see if they were still interested which they were, and the story basically ends there. The financials and details in the travel would be later sorted out.

The last thing on there mind is IMG. They know that game is a loss. The game is for exposure and a once in a lifetime experience. The Sallie's game is the biggest game on their schedule every year. Trust me. I'm pretty close to the team. They are jacked for this game. Sallie's better bring some offense if they want to be in this game. Middletown 34-17.
I know Sallies might have stumbled a little bit last week, but you will see this weekend. Salesianum has a special team this year. Trust me I know everything. It will be a good game Middletown is a good team, but it’s Sallies year. This team is going to run all over Middletown tomorrow. Sallies will run for over 200+ yards including 2 rushing touchdowns. The Sallies secondary has been average this year, but they will shine tomorrow night intercepting Frye 2 times, including one to close the game. Final score Sallies 27 Middletown 20. You will all be asking me for my football advice on Saturday morning.
Sallie's may have close to 200 yards rushing and 2 rushing TD's. But they will have near zero passing yards and zero passing TD's. No way that wins the game. Not even close. 40-50 rushing attempts for 175-200 will equal a 2-3 TD win for Middletown.

Terry Krueger is a police sketch artists today as well as a well known political cartoonist in Denver Colorado. I am proud to be named after him.. I remember as a kid seeing his Jimmy Carter as Mr Peanut cartoons funny stuff.. none the less.. Why am I typing this stuff none of you should care about? well my dad has challenged me to write my story and start with just small snippets. 848 it was bad dude.. really bad didn't even try to open it up even when down.. Just like his last state championship game he was hell bent on just running Reeder up the gut no matter what.. Not sure what to make of BDN is he just old and wants to try and prove some point about old school football?? I at least get that I am old and stubborn in my ways as well hell I want things to be like they were also but damn I am not a coach in 2018.. Even I know kids deserve better than that

Yeah I’m a fan of BDN but last night was awful. That offense is awful. And Sallies has talent to do a lot more offensively. It’s time for him to let someone else run the offense and give them a better chance to win. Middletown is a very good team though and deserves a lot of credit for playing a very solid game.
