Wesley football coach Mike Drass dies
Mike Drass, Wesley College's all-time winningest football coach, died Monday at the age of 57.

Aw man, this is tragic. One of the nicest coaches I came in contact with in my travels. Condolences to his family. Rest easy, Coach Drass.

Very sad day indeed, just had a nice conversation with him at a football clinic. Coach impacted so many along the way, he was very open in allowing FCA to be a part of his program. I’ve seen a lot of great testimonies from former players…what a great legacy!! Praying for his and the Wesley Football families.

Very sad indeed. His passing was not only locally recognized but was front page news on D3Football.com There's a lot of young men and coaches walking around hurting right now. I would expect that the HC job will be given to Chip since he's been Assistant HC for a number of years. Prayers to everyone in and around the program and at the school.

Very sad indeed. I only met him once, when my son spoke with him about going to Wesley. He was very honest , cordial and forthright with him and explained the only true value he had would be as a long snapper. He explained that if he wanted to be a small part of something bigger, Wesley would be for him. No sales pitch, no promises, just an honest assessment. My heart goes out to his family in this troubling time.
