Let me just post this tread for the officials. I know many of you who call games make calls based on what the points of emphasis are, and are under heavy scrutiny by Court side evaluators. So I don't blame u for the weak calls. It's an institutional directive, I get it. DIAA is killing the game.

Delaware has 2 points of emphasis. No hand checking the ball handler. Been in place for 3-4 years. Adopted from college to score more points. & The new one of either nor the shooting team or rebounding team is allowed to cross the free throw line until the ball hits rim. Pretty much to take away kid running to get his own miss & so the rebounding team doesn't take the shooters legs out.
The ultimate reason to why there not so good is the "not my call" attitude. Ref B has best view but Ref C has to make call cause he follows behind or something like that. 3 guys call, call what you see. Also as much as I hate to say it, they have to find a fountain of youth. They supplemented it by putting almost 3 refs in any decent varsity game but they can't keep up with the uptempo teams.

Can't stand watching some of these games because of Delaware refs. In all seriousness "LET THE BOYS PLAY". Delawares extremely over the top hand check rule has removed the possibility of ball pressure in Delaware. Also, I'm not sure if these players are walking more than other high school players across the nation or these refs are just trying to assert their dominance by calling a walk every other possession.

Refs same like they are under tremendous pressure to make more calls. Just a weird situation, makes me wonder whether a quota system is in place by the evaluator whereas if they don't enforce the new points of emphasis to the max they get poor reviews and lose out on assignments.
