Both teams depth and size will be effected by the impending football state championships tomorrow, Howard will be without Shawn Bowman and Salesianum will be without Jamal Whittlesey. One would think Howard will be effected more due to Bowman being their biggest player and Salesianum still will have 6'8" Taariq Ingraham and 6'7" Paul Brown.
The game within the game will be how the highly touted freshmen (Kwajree Turner, Tariq Ingraham, Fahmir Ali, Trevon Alderman, Jack Brown) will do in their high school varsity debuts, each come into the season highly decorated from stellar aau and/or middle school tenures.
Howard looks to be starting their freshman (Kwajree Turner), and Salesianum looks to be starting two of theirs, maybe even three.
