The Seaford JV football team has canceled all of their scheduled games for the season.

I assume that means that they didn't have enough players for both a JV and Varsity team this year, but there could be another reason.

It might also explain why they canceled their first Varsity game this season.

The funding is there. It is the lack of student athletes. This thread goes back to why Seaford and Laurel need to combine as 1 district. Their history is as important as Rugrats prime time spot on Nickelodeon in the 90’s.

If Laurel and Seaford merged, their enrollment would be around 1,300 which would put them in Division 1. Moving some areas to Delmar and/or Woodbridge could keep them in Division 2 though.
