Thank you Sparty. China blew it with their one child policy in urban areas. ( I think it lasted like 20 years)
Because of that family size restriction Inda will have a larger population in 2030 than China.

I don't buy the "more choices" "Poor Economy" excuse for STM. It's an average product at an elite price. Sallies has not seen a drop off, STE hasn't seen a drop off, the girls schools haven't seen drop offs, the Privates haven't seen drop offs. I also don't think its the people in the school. It's the Diocese running it into the ground. Sports is what paid the bills at STM. That's why kids, with options, chose to go there.Take sports away now your asking people to pay a lot of money for the "Public/Private School" without any commitment to sports, so you lose near 100% of those kids.

....Worn- this is an excellent post....people have been saying this is what has been causing the Spartans woes for years and I call bullshit based exactly on the stats of the other schools you mentioned and how their enrollment has not seen the drop off. It has been said that the administration has run the school into the ground and finally they have made some changes. My only concern is how long will it take to heal the wounds.
