Problem with high school stats is they are so subjective, one coach or scorekeeper may rule routine pop ups to infield or fly balls to outfield that should be caught but go untouched as 'hits', and other coaches rule as errors. Many other examples, but not much can be done unless each game had an official scorer, and even then not perfect. And then there is always the line drives and hard hit balls directly to fielders. That's just baseball, but on a stat sheet, may not be the true representation of players' talents.
Delaware is full of very good baseball players this year, and a few great players. We are all fortunate to get to see these young men perform, and develop.
