Sussex Tech 5 Mt. Pleasant 4 Megan Sterling had three hits including a triple, Kayla Evans had two hits both doubles, and Jaya Shaub had a single and a double. Kylie Kruger relieved Bryn Parker in the third inning and struck out the next three hitters allowing only one base runner in 5 innings of work to gain the win. Teagan Bradley struck out 14 for Mount Pleasant

Caravel 10 Indian River 0
Danielle DeBenedicitis led Caravel to victory by driving in five runs. DeBenedicitis and Walsh both hit a homerun for Caravel. Jessica Walter struck out nine on the mound.
Hall and Collins both went 1 for 2 for Indian River.

St. Elizabeth 19 First State Military 2 Brooke led the St E offense with a triple and HR for 5 rbi's. Skylar pitched a 5 inning complete game with 11 stikeouts and 0 walks. Brianna led FSMA with a hit, RBI and a run scored.

Red Lion 3 Cape Henlopen 2 Bot first inning Rachel Craine Sac Bunt socres Pusey. Morgan Lieske triples and is brought in on a single by Edwards. Cape Henlopen answers with two in the top of 4th to tie it up with with doubles by Kuhlman and Frederick. RLCA responds in bottom with a triple by Meginniss scoring Edwards. Rachel Craine got the final out of the game with a diving catch behing short stop. Edwards allowed 3 hits over 7 innings with 4K's. Frederick allowed 4 hits over 6 innings with 10K's.

William Penn 6 Milford 2
Madelyn Pritchard (WP) and Khyliah Reynolds were locked in a pitching dual for six innings until William Penn was able to take the lead for good in the 7th inning. Pritchard went 7 innings, allowing 3 hits, and striking out 8. Reynolds went six innings plus, also striking out 8 batters.

Shelby Osborne started the 7th inning rally for Penn with a walk. Pritchard, Rachel Haight, and Madison Perry followed with hits, and Sabrie Purnell launched a 2 run home run giving Penn a 6-1 lead. Liv Lynam also added two hits for Penn.

Reynolds and Julianna Brown each had a double, and Lillie Harrison had a single and an RBI for Milford.

Middletown 4 Padua 3
Reese Founds went 2 for 3 including a walk-off double in the bottom of the 7th to give Middletown the win. Pitchers from each team (Mid - Drake & Pad - Schurman) battled on the mound with every batter. Sara Moore led Padua's offense going 2 for 3.

Sussex Central 22 Polytech 0
The lady knights were powered by an early offense lead by Kate Evick and McKenna Boyle each with 3 hits. Boyle also had a 3 run home run as one of her hits. Defensively the knights were lead by the no hit 11 strikeout pitching performance of Madge Layfield. Mackenzie Mitchell was able to reach base twice for Polytech.

Caesar Rodney 4 Cape Henlopen 1 Sydney Hatch (CR) started things off with a sac fly to score 1 one in the first. Peyton Shields (CR) lasted 7 innings allowing 4 hits, one walk, and 13 strikeouts, Marissa Frederick (Cape) pitched 6 innings allowing four runs while striking out 12. Shields (CR) went 3-for-4 at the plate and Husbands (cape) went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Seaford 6 Woodbridge 2
Jada Evans pitched 7 complete innings, striking out 11 and only allowing 2 hits for the Blue Jays. Evans also lead the way at the plate going 2-3. Cameron Knowles was also 2-3 at the plate, with 2 runs scored. Hannah Moore added 2 RBI's and Sage Larimore went 2-4 at the plate. Payton and Parker Keeler woth had hit for the Raiders.
Newark Charter 12 Archmere 1 Ashlee & Hailee Trala lead the way with 2 hits a piece while Sobocinscki, Parker, O'Connor, Ki. Noonan, S. Noonan, Kher, Ka. Noonan all added 1 hit each. In a full team effort, Newark Charter tallied a total of 11 hits in 5 innings for the first win of the season. Olivia Stubblebine only allowed 1 run in her 7 strike out performance. K. Lotkowski had an RBI double for Archmere.
