First this goes out to all 22 DE wrestlers who are listed as competing . Unless you've actually tried college wrestling it is difficult to understand how taxing it is. Most guys work out like HS teams and then add in running, lifting and some require other work outs. You travel 100s and sometimes a thousand miles one way to a weekend event. On top of that is your full class load and a whole bunch of time spent helping beg money by being at alumni events. Most of the coaches cast a very dim eye on any fun involving beer or women and any extra fun all your class mates are reveling.in. There are monastic monks having more fun than in season wrestlers.. Just exaggerating for effect but it is a very tough sport. So here's a tip of the hat to all of you guys.

Leading off is Ryan Wolfe. Ryan took first place at EWL with a very convincing performance going 3-0. 15-3 MD, 10-6 vs Pavasco and a 9-6 finals win. It looked to me like he was cruising in all 3 matches.I'm hoping he gets a seed at NCAA.

Pat Davis lost took 4th place in a heart breaker 5-3 SV1 loss to the 1 seed McKinney. Still a very nice finish to a good season

Bobby Telford 4 seed took 2nd in the Big tens started with an F2:26, then 2-1 quarter and upset #1 seed Medbury with a 3-1 at the buzzed in SV1 in the semis before losing to arch nemisis McMullan NWU 4-3.

Josh Snook St. M now UMD at 174# went 1-3

Alvontae Drummond Mil, McDaniel took 2nd and added 2 F and an MD on the way. Alvontae had a terrific season finishing with 24-5 record.and moves on to D3 championship

Brent Fleetwood went 2-2 was prevented from advancing by Derick Elmore NIU. Elmore won both the opening match and the3rd place match. Still 4th for a Freshman, especially in that bracket is a terrific accomplishment

Anthony Mancini went 1-2 at Eiwas
