Cant believe that we are 10 games into the HS schedule and the board is crickets!!! No discussion of any rankings, college commitments, closing of Wesley athletics & potential transfers, young players to watch... or does HS ball no longer mean anything? Salisbury Univ. ranked #3 in the country, WilmU is #4 ranked in the east region

Have you seen some of these teams?? The play, the coaching are absolutely HORRIBLE! You have a couple of good teams but aside from that, all just terrible! Errors, walks, 10-run rules. Parody in DE High School Baseball is gone! Missing the coaching that the likes of Niggebrugge, Nowell, Dooley, etc. that brought a competitive and fiery nature to every game - GONE!!! Very sad to see.......

DMA beat St Marks in the bottom of the 7th. DMA beat SC in the bottom of the 9th. Sussex Tech beat Cape in the their last at bat. Cape beat SC with a big 6th inning. There are a handful of good teams at the top.

St Marks has possibly the best pitcher in the state. Good all around team.
Cape is stacked top to bottom with hitters.
Sussex Tech has a trio of top notch pitchers. Haven't scored a ton of runs.
DMA has good hitting and top of their pitching is good.
Haven't seen St. Georges.
Appo has good pitching and the top of the lineup is talented.
SC has good hitting lineup top to bottom. Thin at pitching. Scrappy.
Haven't seen Sallies in person.

Lot of evenly matched teams which will hopefully translate into a competitive tournament.

Freshman Gage Joseph from Cape. Hits 4th in a very good hitting lineup and plays RT field. Pitches as well. Impressive young man for sure.
