Sanford played even with Goretti except in the 2nd Q with Walsh on the bench in foul trouble. Got outscored 22-5. Sanford had no help in the paint and the Goretti center just ate up the boards. Mikey Dixon was a beast. Sanford will have their hands full with Christ The King today.

Sallies played really tentatively to start the game and was down big early to St Vincent-St Mary. Stayed in the game after that even caught up a little. Got a lot of help from a couple bench players. Jay Wright was at the game and Donte played well with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Shane Clark had a great game too. Had 15 points 5 boards. Thought he had more rebounds. Sallies plays CR today.

Best 2 games Sunrise beat Christ the King and Rozelle beat Haverford. Rozelle did not list their players heights but seemed to half several kids at least 6'8" tall or taller.

Event was run great. Again would guess stands were up 75% full. Was told the gym seats 3000. No idea if that is true or not.
There are some really good games scheduled for day 3. If you have the time it is definitely worth a trip.

Great info oldtimer...Thx I will attend next year for sure...looking fwd to your day 3 recap

2OT thriller between the nation's number 5 team, Roselle Catholic and Gonzaga of DC sounds like it stole the show. Game was sent to OT thanks to a Gonzaga three-pointer as regulation expired, and Roselle won it with a full-court layup as time expired.

These programs reminded me of vintage SDTTB as they featured multiple D1 athletes. The Briscoe kid is quite special. Name to remember from this event - freshman Cameron Reddish of the Haverford School (PA).
