Conrad 11 Archmere 10

Highlights:
Conrad notched four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Conrad was led by Michael Spadea, Tyler Purring, and Jack Szczerba, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Archmere Academy scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning for Archmere Academy came thanks to doubles by Leonord Albanese and Erik Risnychok and a single by Matt Dellose.
Tyler Reinert was credited with the victory for Conrad. Reinert went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Joseph Malinowski threw four and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Storm took the loss for Archmere

Cape Henlopen 13 Lake Forest 3 Justin Marsh was 3 for 3 with a double, sac fly, and 3 RBI's. Gage Joseph was 3 for 3 with a walk, 3 runs scored, and a 2-run home run. Hunter Rauch added a double, triple, and 2 runs scored for Cape. Josh Reinhold picked up his 2nd win of the season throwing 4 2/3 innings of no-hit baseball with 8 K's. Tristian McCray had a single with 2 RBI's for Lake.

Tower Hill 10 Concord 8 Tower Hill racked up 9 hits in a win over Concord. Marty Coyne scattered 4 hits with no walks over 6 innings pitched. Kenyon Motley and Coyne had multiple hit games for the Hillers. For Concord, Joe Ackroyd and Andrew Firko had multi hit games.

Patrick McKenzie cleared the bases with a walk-off double to propel Friends to an 11-10, come-from-behind victory. Peter Erskine picked up the win in relief to get to 2-1 on the season. Erskine and Silberglied also contributed doubles in the win. Nathaniel Huxtable, Erskine, and McKenzie had multiple hits for the Quakers. Middletown got seven hits and stole seven bases while B. Timmons notched a double for the Cavaliers.

St. Marks 11 Indian River 0 Ben Anderson started the scoring with RBI double in the 1st inning. The Spartans tacked on 4 more in the 2nd and 6 more in the fourth. Christian Colmery pitched a one hitter and struck out 8 batters. Ben Cordrey had a single for the Indian River.

Milford 10 Laurel 0 Alex Mergner struck out 10 to lead Milford to the victory over Laurel. Mitch Leighty and Sam Sickles each had 2 hits. Shawn Saxon and Sickles each had 2 rbi. Damin Smith had a double for the Bulldogs.

Sanford 12 Odyssey 2 Colton Ferguson got the win on the mound for Sanford throwing a complete game 2-hitter, striking out 10. Offensively for the Warriors, Brady Bollman had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Brian Keiser also had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Jack Lazarski had a hit and scored 3 runs for Sanford.

Charter 5 Red Lion Christian 4
Justin Terranova earned the win on the mound for Charter, allowing 0 runs and 2 hits in 4 innings with 5 strike outs. Justin Hahn had 2 hits, and Justin Terranova and Pete Taylor scored 2 runs each for the Force. Bradon Anderson had 2 hits and Gavin Shields threw 6 2/3 strong innings for Red Lion.

Hodgson 4 Newark Charter 2


Highlights: A well played contested game throughout. John Pflugrad led the way on the mound for Hodgson scattering 4 hits & striking out 5 batters in 5 innings of work for his first win of the season. Campbell Leighton had a strong showing fanning 8 batters for Newark Charter as they finished with 13 strikeouts as a staff. Robert Burris opened up the scoring in the 4th inning with a solo homerun. Nelvin Rivera & Robert Burris had 2 hits each for the Silver Eagles. Will Dubecq led the attack for Charter with 2 hits. Miller, Akers & Cosgrove scored runs for Hodgson.
