According to the school website, the Sals knocked off Hill Academy. Don't know much about this year but Hill has been a national power in the sport.

2018 DIAA Girls State Tournament Information

5-17-18 Games First Round

The Hillers of Tower Hill School advanced to the quarter final round of the DIAA State Tournament behind Sarah Zungailia's game winning goal as she contributed with 3 goals total as they defeated the Lady Senators of Dover High School by a 12-11 score. Annie Malatesta led the Lady Hillers with 5 goals in the game. The Lady Senators were led by Grace Gast with 5 goals and 4 by Cydney Barnes. The Hillers will take on the 3rd seed Lady Raiders of Ursuline at Serviam Field in Wilmington, DE.

4 goals each by Madison and Samantha Karr, along with Victoria Dunbar paced the Lady Patriots of Newark Charter to a 12-8 win over the Lady Jaguars of Appoquinimink. The Lady Jags were led by Kristin Cunningham with 3 goals. The Lady Patriots will be at 2nd seed St. Marks.

Sarah Kunkle's game winning goal paced the Lady Pandas of Padua to a 15-14 upset win over the Cards of St. Andrews. The Lady Pandas will travel to Lewes, DE and will take on the Lady Vikings of Cape Henlopen

Polytech defeated Charter 13-5. No details provided. The Lady Panthers will take on the Lady Auks of Archmere Academy.

The Vikings of Cape Henlopen on 5 goals by Jack Dennis, 4 by James Held, 3 by Gabriel Best, 2 by Luke DiAmbrogi and William Bragg defeated the Warriors of Sanford School by a 21-5 score. The Warriors were led by Tommy Bloom with 2 goals.

For the first time in 5 years the Riders of Caesar Rodney made it to the finals of the 2018 DIAA Boys State Lacrosse Championships behind the 4 goal performance of Jared Wagenhoffer, 2 goals each by Demetrius Stevenson, James Cava and Joshua Cosden paced CR to a 12-5 win over the Quakers of Wilmington Friends. The Quakers were led by River Harper with 3 goals. The Riders will play 3 time defending state champion Sals of Salesianum for the DIAA Title. The Sals defeated Cape Henlopen by a 11-6 score no details provided.

6-4-18 DIAA State Championship Boys Lacrosse Finals

The Sals of Salesianum won their fourth boys lacrosse title in a row behind the 5 goal performance of Cooper Urban, 2 goals by Bradley Santore defeated the Riders of Caesar Rodney by a 14-9 score. The Riders were led by Jared Wagonhoffer with 3 goals, 2 each by Noah Longest and Joshua Cosden.
