Middletown Post 25 Baseball tryout announcement. Post 25 Baseball will be holding tryouts for the 2015 Summer Senior Team on Sunday April 19, 2015 and Sunday April 26, 2015. These tryouts will be held at Middletown High School from 1pm-4pm on both dates. Our coaching staff is committed to providing high quality baseball instruction and is dedicated to assist players with the process of college recruiting. American Legion baseball provides the opportunity for local D-1, D-2 and D-3 college programs to come out and watch players perform. Our coaching staff is comprised of dedicated men who volunteer there time to teach the game of baseball. We have coaches who played at the collegiate level and have a lot to offer. We would like to point out that we play a 28 regular season games throughout the state of Delaware. Teams that make the playoffs (state tournament) will be competing in a double elimination tournament, which is being held at Wilson Field (Stahl Post/WilmU). The winner earns the berth into the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament being held in Leesburg, VA. If you live in the MOT area (Appoquinimink School District) and Smyrna School District you are eligible to tryout for Post 25 Baseball. We welcome players from the ages of 15-19 and encourage you to attend one of our tryouts. If your are 19 years old you can play as long as you do not turn 20 in the calendar year of 2015.
