Agresti, Poore, and Griffith definitely are locked in wins. Even though anything can happen I definitely think they won’t slip up. The other returnees definitely will face some challenges though.106: Stratton
113: Radecki
132: Poore
138: Sinclair
190: Griffith
215: Agresti
215: August
all returning state champs.. not sure of the weights they will be going.
That would be a fun match-up. Don’t think we are gonna see that this year though. I’d say Agresti wins though since he arguably the best pound for pound wrestler in the state.would love to see Agresti and Griffith both go 190..
Agresti and August will most likely be in the 215 weight class.i agree. I assume agresti goes 215 and griffith goes 190. unless agresti goes 190 and griffith 175
The 138 weight class is going to be fun to watch. It's been one of the tougher weight classes, in recent years. From looking at preseason tournaments it seems 126, might be a fun weight class to watch. a Few 113 pounders, of course previous 120 pounders, and returning 126 pounders.
Very hot take on the 215. After this weekend of wrestling I definitely think DMA takes 2. Caravel is missing a lot of kids due too football however, can’t count them out yet.D1 - Cape

My guess is that Delaware Online isn’t even aware of the transfers.Upstate paper has a bit different rankings.
D 1
1. Sallies
2. CR
3. Smyrna
4. Cape
5. Sussex Central
D2
1. Caravel
2. DMA
3. Lake Forest
4. Laurel
5. Red Lion
Definitely think St. Marks should be ranked with the additions of Spoor, Bakhsh and Barnes.
For D2 it is pretty much how those teams finished last year so that would not be much of a surpriseMy guess is that Delaware Online isn’t even aware of the transfers.
I think its more of a race for who takes third. Moany and Duarte are tough but i think Miller separated himself from the pack this off-season.I believe Agresti will be going 215, heard he struggled to make 195 last year, so most likely a match up between him and August. Plus I believe DMA and sallies will be at 2 or 3 tournaments together plus a dual meet so we should see that match happen a few times this year. I believe Miller will be 189. So if Griffith does go 189 i think it will be a race to 2nd place between Duarte, Moany, and Miller. I believe I heard Sinclair will be going 144. If he stays at 138 I think it will be him and Williams from DMA there.
Carr is no longer at Archmere. He transferred to Sun Valley.D1 - Cape

You may be right, Miller had a real nice tournament last week and really the only person he couldn't beat last year in state was August. And if he was weighing around 195 last year wrestling 220 that was a fair amount of weight giving up. Duarte and moaney are both power guys where Miller seems to be a lot more technique. Should be some good matches across the board thoughI think its more of a race for who takes third. Moany and Duarte are tough but i think Miller separated himself from the pack this off-season.
106: strattonA few weeks into competitions, taking into account that football players still might be out, any thoughts on individual?
You missed 175 lol...and I think once we see where guys settle in because I saw Bender wrestled 165 at a dual meet and at southern slam. If neither Bender or Fritchman are at 165 I think Spoor wins there106: Stratton
113: unsure
120: Radecki

215: Agresti
285: tossup between DeNigris and Goodman
Yeah, I think Fritchman will win 175, and 157/165 depends if bender wants to cut or not. Spoor definitely could give both wrestlers problems though at 165.You missed 175 lol...and I think once we see where guys settle in because I saw Bender wrestled 165 at a dual meet and at southern slam. Isn’t McEvoy 106?Sinclair is at 138 and beat Williams soundly. 126 is all Copes. 113 looks to be primed for McEvoy or Moffett IMO
I heard that Sinclair was going 144 but obviously not the case. Definitely a good match though. They will meet up quite a few times throughout the year.Sinclair is at 138 and beat Williams soundly. 126 is all Copes. 113 looks to be primed for McEvoy or Moffett IMO
