Lots of great matches in the finals this year. Also loved seeing Alex Poore stall his way to his second state title.

All the great wrestling and effort on display today and you decide to individually come at a 17 year old. I'm sure your family is proud of you.
Who was the OW of the tournament. This is good to have the state open tournament differently with team scoring that we haven't had for a long time. I know it is tough not to have the Dual Meet Division I and II Tournaments in Smyrna along with the Blue Hens Henlopen and Independent Conference Tournaments due to COVID but the important thing is to save lives and make sure these wrestlers are healthy. They all wrestled well especially the girl Emily Thode from Milford who made history by winning her first round match. Congratulations to all wrestlers
How was it stalling? He owned the center circle and shot more than a few times from his knees. Was it unconventional yes, but it wasn’t stalling IMO.

Great to see them successfully hold the tournament. Considering all they had to deal with -it was managed extremely well.
