Not that it really matters, Smyrna is a Henlopen school which is the main point you're making, and your source of pride.
High Schools are for education--sports are secondary. If, somehow, the young man finds himself in the Smyrna school district next year an adult's priorities are not right.
The call was kick catch interference. In high school you can't catch the ball out of the air. The ball has to be grounded first
I think LB plays QB next year, just my opinion.
Marks is a wiz, he will redo the offense to optimize the what he has.
Being that they will still have the top two players in the state coming back, and two Good WRs that can make plays I space, they will still have some deadly options

Just stirring the pot...Wilson would look good taking Nolan's spot though. Guys were just talking about it at the game tonight. Purely speculation. With the talent Smyrna has coming back I'm sure they'll be fine.

Crazier things have happened. How does Smyrna get blessed with LB after already having the best back in the state the year previous? I'm sure it's not true, but after next week we have the whole off season to wonder...

Bummy heard tha Jared Wagenhoffer will be at Smyrna HS in January and will be their QB next year. He currently lives in the Smyrna School District. He went to Poly his first year, choiced into CR for his 10th and so far his 11th grade year.
With the right coaching Jared will shine.

So the WR says that he & his teammates have been working out together, and that's an issue? Is there a team that doesn't?

He was nowhere around the Smyrna locker room or sidelines. The team has not met this young man.
Private Schools have been getting gifted athletes for years through recruitment. For that reason they have been very successful. Lets face it, the State is going to Crown a Public School "again" this year, and it may be a few years before the Privates can win another. Woodbridge is young and should be strong for the next 2 years, plus Middletown, Smyrna and WP will be strong for next few years.
I'm doing some recruiting for my alma mater (a private school). Can you get me the names of these recruiting specialists .
I may be behind but I thought Delaware implemented school choice, where a student to choice into any school/district he or she wishes as long as they find their own transportation?
I'm not sure what the rules are anymore plus I'm a private school guy . We're too busy getting our freshman recruiting classes in place. No choice and no time for transfers.
You don't have a clue. I had a chance to speak with Dooley. They did all they could OFF/DEF just got beat by a btter team. Thye did not have enough kids to match up with Smyrna Speed. They had a put together OL had a team that prob should have been 5-5 or 6-4 went 9-1 and won a play-off game. Amazing what the Coaches and there kids did this season. When they had the horses they won 42-14 in semi and finals. So don't make a comment that is so un true. They just got beat by a better team as did Sallies,
With Nolan Knight and Brown there they will be tough to stop. Middletown and Can exploit Smyrna Secondary thats were they are weak. Wp could not pass and they could not take advantage of that. Look forward to seeing how the game goes. Flight A guy but that Smyrna team will be tough to beat.

YeH ok sure he did. Dooley knows who I am and we have talked on occasion. If he was interestsd in what i thought he woud have asked.
