Team Delaware is a 13U Showcase Team that was started up by 302 Elite Athletes to provide the top players in the state of Delaware and surrounding areas the opportunity to showcase their talent throughout the course of an entire season. This upcoming Fall season, Team Delaware will be competing in the Grassroots Youth Football League, which is the toughest youth league in the region and a top ten youth football league nationally. Due to the high level of competition, some of the best players in the GYFL have even received NCAA Division-I scholarship offers prior to the start of their high school football careers. Throughout the past few years the GYFL has obtained some outstanding partnerships with organizations such as Under Armour, Under Armour All-American, Army All-American, Team USA National Team, and more. Each season numerous players from the Grassroots Youth Football League are chosen to play in these prestigious events. This is the type of exposure that propels athletes onto NCAA Division-I radars throughout the entire country. Playing for the Team Delaware Ducks will provide you the opportunity to compete against the best talent in the region while maximizing your exposure to scouts nationally.
Our staff will consist of highly experienced coaches who have played at the collegiate and pro levels, understand the collegiate recruitment process, and know what it takes to play at the NCAA Division-I level. Our Head Coach will be Isaiah Fleming, who is the Owner and Director of Scouting for 302 Elite Athletes. Isaiah was a 2x NCAA Division-II All-American, 3x NCAA All-Region selection, 3x All-Conference selection, and Cliff Harris National Defensive Player of the Year finalist. At Offensive Coordinator, we will have former Atlanta Falcons running back Jerome Smith. Prior to playing in the NFL, Coach Smith was an All-ACC selection at Syracuse University and one of 11 running backs in SU history to rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season. Our Defensive Coordinator will be former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jamil Merrell. Jamil was named First Team All-State and Defensive Lineman of the Year at Hodgson Vo-Tech prior to enrolling at Rutgers, where he was a multi-year starter and an All-Conference selection. In addition, the staff will also feature position coaches that have played collegiate football, coached high school football, and more.

After the fall season ends in November, the GYFL rolls right into the post-season activities. Top prospects from the GYFL Fall League are selected for the Youth Crab Bowl, as well as the Football University National Championship Teams in Maryland and Northern VA. The GYFL's top athletes will compete for National Championships in December in Naples, FL. The best players will also have exclusive access to the Under Armour 8th Grade All American Bowl in Orlando, Florida immediately following the High School Under Armour All American Game. In addition, they have exclusive access to the FBU 8th Grade and Freshman All American Games, which are played in San Antonio, in conjunction with the US Army All American Game. The best of our best also have a chance to play in the USA Football International Bowls for the USA National Team at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
