They're doing it on the boys' forum, so why not for the girls?

I got:

Ursuline
Sanford
Conrad
Caravel

What say y'all?

Sanford may be losing a lot, is LP coming back or did she transfer, did Warren transfer to Caravel and the rumor is their other big Pollich is not playing. Will Alisha transfer affect Ursuline chances at a repeat, probably not they still have Connolly. Conrad returns everybody and Caravel returns a lot of pieces. Other than that CR, just losses Haith, but may get a upstate transfer and have some freshman talent coming in. I don't know what Concord has coming back but Snow should be an early POY candidate. Even with the transfer St. E. losses Speaks, Sussex Tech made it to the BOB with a young team last year can they make the next jump?

Next year looks like there could be some shakeups but I think the usually suspects are there at the end. I see a Caravel and Ursuline rematch or a Conrad vs Ursuline in the finals. . .

Hey, A whole heck of a lot of shakeups!!
The first thing is from what i heard is Laurin park-lane is coming back to sanford. She did not get in to west town as expected. Warren transferred to Caravel. And Pollich is done playing basketball. She will concentrate on her grades. sanford already went 6 to 7 players in there rotation. the lost of Pollich will hurt there inside presence. not sure what they have coming for freshman

caravel will be a lot tougher and deeper. if warren uses her size in the paint they will have a great inside outside game plan. but because she wants to showcase her shooting more than anything not sure how that will fair out. and if maia bryson, carly, sasha and ondia can add to this as a team they could be the team to beat this year

Concord will be solid but they have lost so much offense and it will be heavily on snow. and she can handle all of it. if there is a complimentary player on that team that can help with the offense so she doesn't see a lot of double teams she will end up player of the year. she is really a d1 player. and i hope she gets the looks.

St. Elizabeth lost Tink davis. but picked up fatty, and arianna henry from padua. which gives them a young core back court for the future. if they can get a solid big to help in the paint and some key pieces & they will be competitive. They still have a guard over there that they have yet to use in three years in yakira smith-hines. she is a solid true point guard that can shoot.

Appo will have a big boost in offense with Tink coming in. along with Senay clark. not sure how the offense will flow there with both demanding the ball. if one decides to play two then they will be fine or if they take turns playing the one. they still have no size which will be a problem.

love the coaching change at Padua. but they need a strong culture change in order to be back what they used to be. i believe this is the right step in that change

Ursuline has taken a big hit. And there is so many rumors as to why they are taking a hit. But i will say that in this day and time i would think we a society would be past a lot of our indifferences, and moved on to a better society. with that said they lost last years sophomore player of the year Alicia lewis and her back court mate yanni headly. Senior maggie connoly and junior Kay Wulah are still there. they have younger players that can come in and play and give them some offense and defense. but the experience will be lost from those two players. that maybe the biggest shakeup and could finally make the strong hold that ursuline has had for three years come to an end. the only thin that could save them is the fact that they play a tough out of state schedule. that help them towards teh end of hte season.

St. thomas more has more players than you can imagine down there to help them finally make a good run. they two incoming freshman that will make there bench deeper and give them a spark through the season. if they can put it together they could make a good run come playoff time.chemistry could be the only thing with them.

there was a rumor that ronnaisia ron- ron blatch-huggins was leaving howard. then she is staying. not sure what will be. but if she stays along with na'leighia le-le wright and the rest of there cast they too could make a good run.

mount pleasant has the right pieces and the size. but a key injury to Ayanna obey could be the only thing holding them back. there still young have a solid chance this year

hodgson is the Ja-Naiah and kayla braxton show. if you add the baskerville girl and some solid parts. the only thing holding them back rebounding and defensive size in the paint. chemistry could be the only thing holding there advancement back.

conrad has slowly built a serious team. people would say they did it through the draft. but they did it by making sure they got the right people in the right position. the kulesza sisters and whittlesly form there own big three. they are young and gaining more experience by each year. they all had a chance to play all summer long with the bells. and look to use that experience for this year.

other teams to watch for: st. Georges, archmere, william penn, sussex tech, ceaser rodney and wilmington friends.
*and sorry i haven't heard to much about any down state teams

Ursuline- 3 time defending champs, one of the best Coaches in the State who knows how to put his players in position to succeed.
Maggie last year's Gatorade player of the year will continue to keep UA in the running, then you have returning starter Olivia who knows the game and will continue to crash the boards and get buckets, add Kay in the mix and you have an inside scoring threat, wouldn't be surprised to see 3 year Varsity player Allison Olmstead as a starter,a proven 3-point specialist who will help with the outside game and experience.
Not to sure about the other starting spot.Bench shouldn't be a problem.
Concerns are transition defense and foul trouble.
:will lose more games than the last 3 seasons combined.
:Will come together right before the playoffs and push through to defend their title.

Sanford- Great Coach in Marcus who will continue to push his girls.
They lost a good player in Kendra Warren.LP who in my opinion is one of if not the best pure point guards in the state will keep Sanford relevant, Olivia Tucker the three point specialist should be healthy this season, I had a chance to watch Kanisa Tucker play this summer and I like her game, with the experience she got last year she should do well, Alli Kubek the young post player will have a solid season. If Pollich decides to play, they will make a strong run to dethrone Ursuline.
Concerns are whether or not Pollich will play.

Caravel- Coach Kristen, Great Coach who keeps her team in the mix.
They are Going to miss Grace,a player I had the pleasure of watching for four year's and she was tough. Maia a top point gaurd, confident and feisty. Sasha tough scorer great addition last year, Brown should get more work this year, newest addition Kendra Warren will add toughness as well as a inside outside threat, finish up with Swift and veteren forward Kaylee and you have a recipe for a Championship!

Conrad: Haven't seen them enough to comment, but word on the street is that they are good.

Concord: Love Coach Armstrong, no matter where I'm at watching or reffing a girls game in Delaware I always spot him. Community Icon, proven winner who constantly keeps his team at the Bob and thats what makes him one of my favorites. And yes he has proven to be a Great Coach with a Championship under his belt.
All I can say about this team is SNOW, saw her a few times this summer, looks like she has gotten stronger and bigger, very athletic, joyfull and has a killer instinct. I'm going to love watching her this season. Concerns:lost too many top players the past two years.

Shout out to Alexis Lee from St.E, I think she will have a good if not great year!

I'm a huge Zhan'e Snow fan, her game is about as complete as any public school player I can remember in recent memory, I hope she does get the looks as well at next level ball.

Any intel on where Yanni Hendley went?

I like the info. but Olivia for ursuline has also torn her ACL. not sure if she will be back in time to play. Kay is also on the mend after her injury. last I heard she is at 70% of healing. she may not be back until January at best. Young players for that ursuline team will have to step up.

yanni is going to home schooled and when your home schooled you can play at any highschool you want. not sure where she will end up. but im sure it will be a competitive school.

Yup, that's why, I say around playoff time.

CR has a pretty good incoming freshman class with jada mccullough leading the way

love Jada. And she has great support system. i love to see her play upstate more to play against girls a little more ahead of her to improve in certain areas of her game. but she is a work a holic. so i know it will come.

The national elite team she played with and her summer travel play gives her more than enough if not more exposure than playing with the girls upstate lol upstate is not always the answer

So it sounds like we're going to have a competitive open year on the girls' side, which is awesome. Hate that Ursuline is dealing with injuries because Olivia was huge for them finishing around the basket last season and Kay Wulah has a D1 ceiling in my opinion. But if there's a coach/coaching staff that can work around that, it's John Noonan and his crew.

Since we're throwing out freshmen names, I like Jada's game, but I love Olivia Lynch "No Fear and endless motor" top freshman in Delaware coming from upstate to STMA !

Thank you 4 coming to 24/7 ALL
