Simpson's HAS to be attributed to exceptional coaching. Lol. He Beat some good kids on the way to 3rd including the 3 seed, 5 seed and a kid who he lost to in January. Was happy for him.
Moyer had a crazy tournament. Had to forfeit first match, wins wrestle back, then has a forfeit win ove Loma Thomas, wins a match over Ott, received a medical forfeit win over Diaz and then won 3rd place match. Involved in 3 forfeits at the state tournament. Crazy.
Also Kudos to Kyle Mayo who won his pigtail and made it to day two.
Great seeing Giampietro (SMY) placing after being seeded 16 and wrestling back to place
Kyle made it to the blood round. Came in with a tough draw but was just happy he got in! Wrestled tough matches against O'Connor and Kelley.
