I like the rule of not hurdling a player due to safety concerns of the ball handler being hit hard while in the air and returning to the ground in a forceful manner. With the cycle of player safety and not hitting high on a player and DBs diving more at knees than before this rule needs to be tossed. A tackler can dive aimlessly at full speed towards someone’s knees but the ball handler can jump over them? Soon we will have an ACL epidemic on our hands.
